Quick Update

This is just a quick updte on what's going on in our lives. First School started this fall, Yea!! So excited to have the older boys back in school, and they were happy for school to start too. Since then life has been going at hyper speed. Boys school and homework, scouts, Shanes school, and homework, my school, and homework. Labor Day weekend, We went to Jason and Annies in Ashton while mom and dad were up there it was so nice, but such a short trip. I also made tons of AppleButter Jam (thanks for the recipe mom) and tons of apricot jelly. The boys are continuing to grow and develop, Zac has been getting all 100% on his spelling tests, Sam has been earning tons of badges for scouts,(now to find the time to sew them on), and Jojo has become his mom and dads little buddy. He finds all sorts of mischief to get into everyday.

3 days of RAIN

After spending a nice weekend at Shanes parents house, where the kids could run all over, and spent most of their time outside; this picture was taken at 10 am, the sky hasn't changed for three days; it's now raining and has been raining for 3 days. How did Noah and his family survive. Cabin fever has set in.

Chimp and Chomp

Who you say? Chimp and Chomp are two crocodiles that live in Jojo's belly. It's really funny ever since my sister-in-law who was pregnant stayed with us Jojo is convinced that he has baby crocodiles living in his belly. Some times they are sleeping, and sometimes they are hungry or mad. I love it when he talks about his imaginary pets in his belly.

Sleeping Position

One morning I got up and looked around Zac wasn't in his bed, he wasn't down stairs, he wasn't out back. I couldn't find him. I finally went back in his bedroom and there he was on the side of his bed. I don't know how anyone could sleep like that.

July 4th Baptism

Sam's Baptism was on July 4th. How lucky is he to have his baptism on such a cool day. He will definitely be able to remember when he was baptized. Sam's best friend was also baptized and they got to shre the day and celebrate together. We had alot of fun, family came, we had huge dinner, and then lots of fireworks. The pictures aren't that great but thats mostly because the flashes from the fireworks acted like strobe lights but it was nice. All around us there was people setting off the nice big ones so we had a great time. Congratulations Sam!! We love you!!

Week of Birthdays

This week has been a week of celebration. Its seen wedding anniversaries, birthdays, and new babies. So Congratulations to Becky and Kevin Two Years Anniversary, Happy Birthday Lisa, and Tara. And for my own birthday there were two special birthday events. So congratulations to Lisa and Kirk on a baby girl, Natalyn Marie Nestler, born within 1/2 hour of another special baby girl, Kiandra Marissa Thomas, Congratualtions Kim and Andre. What a very special day. So Happy Birthday everyone. Love you all.

Layoffs....Again, Three strikes we're out.

So it has finally happened after two layoffs Micron announced monday that by the end of August, if not before, everyone working in fab 1, where shane works, will be laid off, they are shutting down the 200 mm factory. So we have until then to find shane a job. So if anyone learns of a job in their area for an instrumentation technician, let us know. We have been applying all over the palce already, we kind of knew this was coming, any job lead would help. Thanks Love ya all.
